Commissioning the logistics centre at the BMW Group Plant in Spartanburg, USA
The AuTeBa experts worked closely alongside the BMW team in Spartanburg to commission the software system for the logistics centre. Once all the specific requirements for efficient operation of the logistics centre were identified, AuTeBa used its comprehensive expertise in logistics, material flow control and warehouse management – based on its decades of experience in delivering automation and control systems around the world – to complete the commissioning process.
An AuTeBa software solution, designed to enable continuous efficiency improvements through optimising material flows and to predict and minimise bottlenecks through extensive data recording, ensures the logistics centre runs smoothly. The result was the commissioning of a centre in Spartanburg with extremely efficient logistics processes, fast handling of goods and significantly improved delivery performance.
