Project scope

AuTeBa developed brand new, innovative control technology for the SemeyCement grinding plant in Semey, Kazakhstan, working with Siemens WinCC.

The result is revolutionary control technology on the basis of the AuTeBa SCADA system, tailored to the needs of the site in Semey. The cement plant has full control and transparency over all grinding processes, and can continuously optimise the efficiency of the cement mill. The top-class AuTeBa experts, who have years of experience in implementing SCADA systems, worked as a team to maximise the performance of the grinding plant.

The AuTeBa SCADA system monitors, controls and optimises every aspect of the plant in real time, as well as continuously tracking the production flow and monitoring the key parameters. It can identify potential bottlenecks before they occur, and the intuitive user interface makes it easy to access a wide range of data in order to make informed decisions – using the outstanding information base – which increase productivity.

Challenges

Developing and delivering the solution in an international environment posed specific challenges. But with its experience in multilingual system applications and on-site implementation, the AuTeBa team successfully overcame them.
